Second round of Internazionali d'Italia Championship was characterized by beautiful things at Gioella motocross track! Beautiful track, beautiful paddock and beautiful races that were followed by many people.
High level riders battled it out once again on the difficult Umbrian track.
In MX1 class, Jimmy Albertson, who was exciting during the practice session, clinched the second best lap time, with only 30 minutes to learn the track.
Alessandro Battig's performance was less effective instead, who found traffic during his potential best lap.
Alessandro's difficult day continued with a first dodged start by a starting gate which didn't drop and with a contact and a second missed start which brought him out.
Albertson instead was almost reaching the podium, and showed his great skills with two impressive starts and the holeshot during second moto, so finished fifth the first moto and fourth the second moto, with a good recovery on Ken De Dycker and Tanel Leok.
Paolo Martin: " A positive day for Jimmy, who understood how to face these pre-World Championship races, by getting better and better every time and paying attention to the Team's advice. He observes, learns quickly and puts everything into practice. Alessandro instead is facing a difficult moment, but I'm sure that this is going to end soon, in order to let his pure talent come out."
